Excellence in Business Mediation
The second installment of the International Summer School on Business Mediation succeeded in bringing forward the unique spirit of the first ISBM 2004 and catalyzed further development of business mediation in German-speaking countries through an intensive exchange of experiences with leading U.S.-American business mediators.

The special highlights of the ISBM 2006:
- live demonstrations by business mediators from the U.S. and Germany, facilitated via a specially developed reflection design
- the exchange of experiences with respect to the similar and dissimilar ways in which business mediation has developed in the U.S., Germany, Switzerland, and Austria
- intensive discussions with more than 80 business and political leaders
- presentation of pilot projects meant to apply mediation know-how to the credit process (Volksbank Graz/Bruck) and within the construction industry (STRABAG, HochTief)
- a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the debut performance of a choir piece performed by mediators in the monastery library
- a rock concert by the band “Feedback” led by First Benedictine Abbot Notker Wolf
